One must first know what an object is before deciding what to do with it.
Systemy rozumienia powstają przed decyzją o restauracji, zakupie, sprzedaży czy interpretacji. Ich zadaniem nie jest produkowanie pomysłów, lecz redukcja chaosu do czytelnych ram: historii własności, autentyczności materii, skali przekształceń i miejsca obiektu w dłuższym porządku kultury.
Systems of understanding emerge before the decision to restore, acquire, sell or interpret. Their task is not to generate ideas, but to reduce chaos into legible frames: ownership history, material authenticity, scale of transformation, and the object’s place within a longer cultural order.

System decyzji istnieje po to, by zatrzymać dryf. Zamiast pytać wyłącznie „co dalej”, pyta „co jest teraz właściwe”. Dzięki temu możliwe staje się rozstrzygnięcie: kupić, odrzucić, restaurować, zachować stan obecny, kontynuować badania albo świadomie zrezygnować z działania.
A decision system exists to prevent drift. Instead of asking only “what next”, it asks “what is right now”. This makes it possible to decide: acquire, reject, restore, preserve the present state, continue research, or consciously refrain from action.
